To migrate your device(s) from Rippling to Zip, take the following steps
[Optional] Prepare to offboard from Rippling
You can export account credentials from Rippling, including Rippling’s admin account password and encryption recovery key. You can export these now, but the information will also stay in the “Archived” devices tab in Rippling, at least until your contract expires.

Archive the device in Rippling
In Rippling
→ select Devices
→ select the Device you want to off-board
→ select three dots
→ select Manage Rippling Agent
→ select Archive
Enroll the Device
Windows
Run the relevant Windows enrollment campaign:
- If you use Google Workspace
- Campaign: Mobile Device Management for Google-Federated Windows Users
macOS
Run the “Mobile Device Enrollment for macOS Users” campaign.
This will guide the user through two steps:
- Deleting the local Rippling profile
- Installing the new profile
